Finally! Web access once again

My apologies to all who may have been trying to contact me via email. I’ve been without internet access for a while. We’ve just relocated to Tyler, TX area and are slowily unpacking and fixing things from our move. Our washer and my main computer’s motherboard did not survive the trip. I’m scrambling to get my data off of the internal drives in my main computer now. It’s all there with a redundant copy (no thanks to Carbonite, perhaps the worst piece of software EVER) on a several different hard drives.

The move to Tyler has been good, but still have a lot of unpacking to do…..but for now, it’s off to the store to pick up a couple more hard drives to do some data-moving.

We are relocating to Tyler, TX for my wife’s job. We really hate to leave our great school, our great friends, but look forward to the opportunities that we have in front of us. I will be taking no further appointments for photos in TN. I will be back here sporadically while I get our house ready for sale and to finish up on the sessions that I have. I’m looking forward to moving to Tyler, Texas and look forward to photographing some high school seniors there. My contact information will be the same, so please feel free to contact me. Here’s a video I put together of some snapshots from our 2009 season. It’s over now (whew, good thing, it’s getting hot out there), but it seems to have gone by much too quickly. Lots of good things happened on the team. All the kids and parents were great. Thanks everyone for a great season!!

My friend Leslie makes the BEST bread. She grinds her own wheat and uses the freshest ingredients for the best tasting bread I’ve ever had. She helped me to design the photograph that I took, which I used to make this painting. Mmmmmm…I love fresh-baked bread. Okay, this was kinda tough. My dad was fussing just a little about having to change out of a tee-shirt and into a collared shirt….then he whined a little about having to put a belt on…..and shoes…sheesh, what is this? Payback for when I was younger and ruining all of their family pictures? Sorry about that mom.

This is the view my mom and dad have from their house (weather permitting). They haven’t seen this yet, I was going to surprise them with a print of it (shh, don’t tell them).

We are having a great time in Florida and hate that we have to leave soon on our long trip back home. It is going to be around 78 degrees here today….it’s hard to leave.
