Painting Class with Marilyn Sholin

I just got back from an amazing two-day workshop with the world-renowned artist and Corel Painter Master, Marilyn Sholin http://www.marilynsholin.com/ . Nestled in the mountains of Asheville, NC, her home is equipped with a classroom which can house a dozen or more students. Marilyn taught about that many of us in an intensive 2-day workshop. In attendance were people from all walks of life, a dentist, an architect, a horse-trainer, business owners and at least one musician, all trying to learn to make art with Painter. Here’s my class project which was created from a photograph that I took back in the summer. It is printed on a beautiful fine art watercolor paper.
